Harris merupakan lulusan dari BRIT School of Performing Arts London. Harris J jadi fenomena menghebohkan di penghujung tahun 2015. Lewat single Salam Alaikum, Harris J tak perlu susah payah merebut hati penggemarnya Lahir di Chelsea di jantung kota London, Harris J adalah seniman muda Muslim Inggris dengan warisan India dan Irlandia dari sang ayah, Jamaica dan Inggris dari sang ibu, menandatangani kontrak dengan Awakening Records.
